I subscribe to that mag. Great magazine. Thanks for the link. I read that article. Guess it runs okay for a little motor, although a high 10 (barely 10.98) at 120 sounds impressive, once you look at the car and realize how gutted it is, (only weighs 3300 lbs.) and how radical the motor is (13.5:1 compression) sheeesh it better run good.
I am almost there with my 1972 chevelle (11.40 at 118) and I'm doing it at full weight (4,108 lbs.) on drag radials and through the mufflers, and the A/C still blows cold. Mine still appears to be a bone stocker as well, just like it was when new. It runs on pump gas (only 10:1 compression) although I do have a little bigger motor
If mine weighed 3300 lbs. it would be in the 10's for sure, but I can't bare to cut the car up. Larry.
