While the Camaro sat dormant, work began on the four-bolt main 454ci big-block that was bored 0.060-inches over. Inside are Scat H-beam rods, a custom Erson roller cam, with their line of roller lifters and Extreme roller rockers. For induction, an Edelbrock Air-Gap was installed along with a Quick Fuel Technologies 830-cfm carb. Power is fed through a Centerforce clutch to the Muncie M-22. Bratton also fitted an all-new front clip, rear quarters, glass, and trim. From there a fresh coat of PPG Black was laid. For the rearend, he fitted a trick Moser 12-bolt with 4.11:1 gears and 33-spline axles. Rollers of choice are BFG Radial T/As on 15x7/15x8 front/rear Vette Rally wheels. Bratton estimates power to be in the 500hp range and future plans include Competition Engineering Slide-a-Link traction bars.inline_mediumwraptextright26513774/featuredvehicles/1003chp_1969_chevy_camaro1003chp_01_o+1969_chevy_c amaro+454_big_block_chevy_engine.jpgTrue
