    1/4 Mile M6 Times Let me know what you ran

    Just curious on what people have ran with their 6 speeds. I took mine up today and sucked! I am not a drag racer i have a car that i do scca club events but i just wanted to race this on the drag strip. Anyways all i have done is k&n slp lid smooth bellows ported tb and the coolant bypass. So long story short ran 13.7 at 105.4 only had 3 runs and all 3 just spun 1st the whole time tried dropping it at like 3 grand, rolling out and just going slow out of the box still ripped up 1st...I know this is faster. So obv i need traction. Curious if i get drag radials if i'm gonna blow this rear end right away? I hear they are junk but are they that bad?? If so what should i prepare to buy? Thanks guys curious to hear your times also thanks.....

    ya the tires i have on right now are old they have alot of tread but garbage for traction the goodyear gs c's i ordered some falken azenis for the front i was going to get 2 more for the back but i'm thinking drag radials are the way to go hopefully i dont blow the rear end!!! What was your 1/4 time and speed?

    umm when i was running 2.6 60 foot i think i trapped at 106 and ran a 14 flat.

    hahaha Ya i know its not the car its got the speed just gotta put it to the ground..I'm sick of seeing these friggen eagle talons around here running 12's at 95mph everyone loves those and evo's around where i live.

    That car just had a LM, not sure what mods you have, but your MPH is healthy!! My buddy ran 8.4@87mph, I can see 12s in your car, with the right air, and a perfect launch and 330' shifting!

    That's about what I had with just a lid, tb bypass and cat back in 2000. 13.59, 108mph m6 bad 60' also like 2.1 to 2.3.

    Less traction = more MPH
    As it hooks better, the MPH will go down a bit.
