    03 camaro

OK this is just a thought, i know that the camaro was ended in 02 BUT, what if there was an 03, it should have came with the ls2, thats right ls2 to compete and blow the doors off of an 03 cobra stock for stock and mod for mod, and should have came with the 4l80e with a factory 3000 rpm stall with lockup OF COURSE and the wonderful 12. bolt with 3.42 or 3.73 option

Well i guess we all can dream OR make our car this bad right?,

Now I kinda wonder did ford put a blower in the 03/04 cobra's thinking that there would be a 03/04 camaro and possibly one with more power then the previous camaro's?

That is kind of true, but to be honest, I noticed a big difference between a C5 z06 compared to an LS2 power C6. Thats in favor of the Z06, the C6 just didn't seem to have the "Balls" a C5 Z06 had.

Z06 was lighter then a normal vett, though... so that might have something to do with it...

Can I ask why you say that?? Everyone seems to like the increased displacement/fatter powerband of the LS2.

    Powerbands are about the same.
Peak power the LS6 tends to make a little more power.

C6 and C5Z06 weigh about the same. Why is the Z06 faster?

    lemme break it down

    c5's had tuned up ls1's
    c5 zo6's had ls6's
    c6's got ls2's
    c6 z06's got ls7's

the rest i am 90% sure about:
ls1 and ls6 are similar, basically just slightly different cam size, stronger crankshaft, different intakes, etc... minor differences.

im thinkin its the same case with ls2's and ls7's... someone correct me

damnit i was just typin it out...
why is the ls6 better than the ls2? i thought ls2's had a higher power output and they got more displacement.

the ls6 is a 5.7 where as the ls2 is 6.0, factory rating the ls6 had 5 more hp.

also ls6 had different heads to the ls1 and bigger oil passages as well
