My best friend is a car dealer here in Alabama,he HAD a very nice 02 Z28 M6,black w/ neutral interior,gm appearance pkg(ground effects) 40,000 miles.stolen
Security video showed it only took the theives 9 minutes to drive off with the Z.I guess they know a way around the security chip in the key on our cars?2007 Corvette...stock...

That really sucks. I'm surprised it took 9 minutes to be honest.

Thanks! But yeah I imagine the car is probably in pieces by now.

I wouldn't be surprised if they were out joy riding some and could very well have parked the car somewhere and left it as well. Typically that's what I've seen "thugs" do.
Now if they were professional chop shop crooks, then most likely it went straight to a garage to be parted. Being it took them so long to steal it though, I would guess they aren't exactly "professionals".
Regardless, I hope it turns up...in one piece.

I watched an episode of a thief show, and the guy stole a newer chevy pickup. He replaced the PCM to take it. Took him like 5 minutes.

I am definately not a good thief, wife locked the keys in the t/a and have spent 30 minutes trying to get in....no luck.
But they just broke the window.
