Sony Vaio VGN-FS840/W Like New $650+...

Hey all,

I have had this laptop since feb of this year. I used it primarily for school / GPS nav for traveling and EFI Live! for tuning the 'bird. I have since switched over to a Tablet form factor as my job requires me to take notes in the field and it was more user friendly, not to mention provided by the co. The laptop was Very well taken care of, and I have made 2 recovery DVD's for it.

Specs:
Intel Pentium M 740 @ 1.73 GHz
512MB DDR2 PC4200
100GB HDD
Windows XP HOME SP2
DVD-R/RW DL burner
15.4" WXGA X-BRITE LCD
Intel 802.11 B/G integrated Wireless.

This has been a great laptop, just don't need it sitting around doing nothing.

I will post some pics of it by 10:00 p.m. tonight. I apologize for the delay, but I have been away in CT this weekend. I just need to take some shots when I get home and I will put them up as soon as I am done.

Here are the photos, sorry about most of them being dark but my flash needs a recharge and I don't have any spare batteries laying around for it. If you would like any other pics, or shots of a specific part of the laptop just let me know and I can get them up after work tomorrow. The laptop is in A condition, the only thing that keeps it from being an A+ is there are some VERY light scratches (look like swirls in a cars paint) on the VAIO letting on the lid. These occured due to sliding the laptop in and out of it's case. Most people probably wouldn't notice it, but I am very particular with my computer equipment, I like everything to be well maintained, and clean. If anyone has ANY questions, please feel free to contact me.

whats the error message bubble at the bottom right thats shown in both pics ? Whats wrong with it?

That message bubble is just microsofts "desktop cleanup wizard" It popped up because I have not started the laptop in about a month or so as I have been using my new one. There is absolutely nothing wrong with this machine at all. Battery life is still great, the machine runs VERY cool even when sitting on your lap. Besides, it will be formatted / re-installed before I ship it out with the factory settings.

I actually have a local sale pending as of tomorrow. I should know by tomorrow evening whether or not the sale is going to go through. If it does not go through, I will post back on here regarding a possible price reduction.
