im not 100% on wii's but i know with every other gaming system ive had that if somethings wrong with it you would call the company and they would only ask for some type of identification number on the system.....ive had to get my ps2 and xbox 360 repaired and neither time needed a receipt

no need for recepit. each Wii has it's own system number, as well as the serial, but the system number is embedded into the hardware....
so they know if a wii is stolen.
which this one isn't

I'll even through in a few gamecube games and a gamecube controller
