Nice Boat And Trailer For Sale.

My friend is selling his 1965 Arrow Glass runabout tri-hull. 15.5ft White with blue interior. Has a 1979 Johnson 100HP motor that runs great. 35-45mph. It also has:
NEW CMC tilt and trim
NEW hydrofoil
NEW Johnson prop
NEW interior.
By "new" I mean two or three months old!
Boat has no holes or leaks and pulls tubers and skiers with no problem. EVERYTHING works but the radio which need to be hooked up. Needs a new battery. Pictures will be posted soon. I've been on this boat several times and it has never stalled or stuttered. Selling because he bought a 23ft powerboat with a 454! He has no problems letting SERIOUS buyers test drive. Boat has been in dry storage for 2 months. Price is $1250/obo which is what the cost of the new parts was. Located in Lawrenceburg KY.

That's not a 1979 Johnson, more like early '70s. The '79 models were all white (Johnson's went all white in '77). They last year for the olive green color was '76, but the engine control in the picture looks pre-'73. In any event, if the motor runs good and with the new equipment, it's definitely worth $1,250.

You're welcome. Those Johnsons (and Evinrudes, their twins) from that time are nearly indestructable. Although they are not as fuel efficient as the newer ones, they are more durable (of course time will tell how durable the newer ones really are). I know much more about boats/motors than I do cars (I was into boats long before I was old enough to drive a car). I've still got three outboard motors from the '70s (one Johnson and two Evinrudes) that still run like champs! The '78 Evinrude has more than 3,000 hours on it and is still going strong!
