I love this surround sound system, but im tired of messing with the DVD player. Ive had it repaired once, but it broke again. Thats why Im selling it. It still has a fully functional surround sound. Comes with all speakers and wires.

What seems to be the problem with the DVD player? When you first had it repaired what did they say was wrong with it? And is it doing what it did the last time it needed to be fixed, like is it the same problem? And how much did it cost to get fixed? Sorry for all the questions I just would like a bit more knowledge as to what might need to be fixed.....I'm a fan of good deals just not money pits! Thanks Kevin

to be honest, im not sure what it was that was wrong with it. my wife took it in while i was on deployment. The dvds wont change and one seems to think it has one in there, but sees no disc, so you cant watch one. I still have a parts warranty on it from JVC up to next month, but not the labor. So I cant honestly say how much it would cost to fix it. If you buy a $40 dvd player and hook it up, then you could just use that instead

So your in TX? Can you move on the price at all, I saw the add that it was 379.00 new......just let me know I don't really need it but it would go nice with my big screen once I got that....like I said in the previous post I'm just not looking to have it become a money pit and cost more to fix in labor then it would cost for a new one...

i will drop the price, but i have to find out how much the shipping is going to be to whoever wants it. if its too much, ill just keep it or sell local if i can.

i have a dvd player. this can hook up to any dvd player?

yeah, as long as you've got the rca cables for it. if your tv supports componet, then i think you'd run your component cables to the tv from the dvd player and the rca to the receiver for the surround sound. like i said though, im gonna see if i can find a box to ship it in. the tower speakers are what makes it difficult. if it costs too much, then im not gonna bother. ill just keep. if you're interested, let me know. Ill check into pricing when i get back home on friday or the following week.
