wtb t56 trans and complete parts needed for swap

i just bought my 98 trans am and i would really like to swap it out for the t56... my trans works like new with only 70,000 miles on it, it has a 3800 stall, it's really nice, but i've always wanted the 6speed... if there's anyone interested i would be happy to do some trading... i have many parts...such as full ws6 suspension with less than 50,000 miles on it, i also have a stock non ram air red hood thats in mint condition, i have a center console and many other interior parts (the interior parts were painted, and then power washed, so there a little rough, they need to be very finely sanded and then painted what ever color you would like.... let me know......

I've got pretty much a whole car with 65,000 miles. T56 is in good shape and has an after market hurst shifter. Let me pull some things you would not need (doors, t-tops, maybe interior) and I'll sell for $3250.

im really just looking for the complete transmission, pedals, and everything else needed for a conversion... i really wouldn't want the whole car, unless i could buy it for the same amount as a new transmission, about 1500 - 1700 or so...

I wouldn't sell it for that.

Where are you finding new trans for $1700? I did a very quick check the other day and the cheapest I found was $1850+a core for a rebulit one.

Depends on how much you want to pay. For $3250 you get all major items in/on the car, motor, trans, pcm, all wiring, all supension. The car will be able to roll or drive minus steering. The steering got messed up in the wreck. Basiclly a whole car minus some body and interior parts. I've sold some small stuff like sun visor, berger panel, and some aftermarket stuff I had added. But at $3250 I would want to keep the Ultra-z hood, doors, and maybe pull the interior.

If you pay more you will get more.
