WTB: Hypertech Programmer Trans Am

I know this is a long shot but does anyone have a Hypertech Programmer for a 99 Trans Am or know where I can pick one up that wont make me broke?

I have one sitting around here that came off of an '00 Camaro, I don't know anything about it tho man. $50.00 Shipped sound good?

I think that will work ... I found some that say 99 - 02 Camaro and Trans am ... Where can I send the money? Paypal ??

I was told to get the part number on the back so I can verify if its interchangable with the TA.

It didnt have the program in it, it had a VIN in the programmer. Can you please respond to my email so we can work something out? I never heard back from you after I asked for a refund. Kind of sux that I got screwed and now your not responding.

so you sold him a $50 paper weight? You have to know this ain't right. Do the right thing and give this guy a refund.

for being so trusting. I lost all contact when I asked for a refund. he even gave me the wrong part number!

one thing you can try is to contact HPP3 and see about sending it to them and getting it unlocked. Have you looked to see what year it's for? In the future read peoples feedback scores and research the person before buying. That's one of the reasons we started a 100 post minimum for sellers so that people can research the person a little before buying something off of them. That doesn't mean there isn't shady people with 1400 posts though. His feed back scores are terrible.

Thanks again but when calling Hypertech they stated that the part is too old and cannot be re-flashed. I didnt think to look at his feedback and took his work seeing he has lots of post and it is on LS1. I guess at this point I have to take my losses and take this as a lessoned learned.

Maybe in the future you guys can come up with some rules for screwing people over and banning them from ever selling on this board again

Have you made any contact with the seller at all? Before going off on a tangent lets give him ample time to reply and make good on it. If not then I'll talk to Ed and see what we can do about his seller status on the board. Sadly, it's always buyer beware on the boards. We do what we can to try and minimize it here but there really is only so much we can do.

Yea we were in contact the whole time, he seemed very nice, up untill I told him that the program was no longer in the box. I then asked if he could make it up and I didnt hear back, then I asked for a refund and still no reply. I received the progammer on Friday and would think that he has had plenty of time to responed, aside from seeing these responses' from the thread. I totally understand that this purchase had nothing to do with LS1.com, itself, and dont hold grudges aganist this site, still at the top of my favorites list!

I have always come here for help and will continue to do so, just kind of sux that this jerk wont even respond and seems to be hiding out
