sounds good. ya know about a month ago i had the web site and part number for both sides and now cant find them. they are only like 30 bucks a piece new. if you order 1999 anniversary side mirrors, thats what came with them. ill try to track the info down again.

Dude i found the info, L/side part #10279516 R/SIDE part# 10279515 at gmpartsdirect.com they are aroun 34 bucks a piece.

just verified they are still available, they are. left side is $34 and right side is $40.65. you have to go to browse parts cataloge section and then type in part number and pontiac, at gmpartsdirect.com

Is the blue glass for looks or does it actually help with following head-lights? I'm interested either way. Well since I'm NBM and have begun detailing my engine bay in heavy flake ocean blue..

when i got the drivers side they said it was for ta only. i can check i have both.

they are TA only and yes they are for glare reduction, not just for looks. I personnally want them just for looks, think those with black paint would compliment each other well. last car they came on was the 30th ANN. in 1999.

i had a black 99 ws6 and that is when i first saw them i think they were 99 only.

How do you change them out? Is it tough? Do you have to smash the current glass and then adhere the new blue ones?

they just pop out gently pry them out, tilt mirror all the way in a direction and pry from opposite side

Yep, there's a little bracket or what ever it's called that looks like a cross, it's gray (It holds both together).
