WTB: Air conditioning compressor and orifice
Well, I just got stationed in southern Alabama, and these 100 degree days finished off the AC system in my 01 Ws6. I took it to a shop, and they told me that my "orifice" is clogged and that my compressor was shot. The "orifice" tube was full of metal goop and particles. They wanted to bend me over the table for new parts, so I'm looking to my LS1 brothers who may have removed their AC systems for track use to hook me up with a compressor and orifice at a reasonable price. Doesn't need to be brand new, but needs to be in good shape with lots of life left...the heat here is unforgiving.
