Wanted: Monsoon head unit

Yes, I know there are better systems but that is what I want with my upgraded speakers. I have a '99 Z28 but I would prefer the Pontiac version with the 7-band equalizer (if it is compatible, which I think it is). I will also take a Camaro version if that is what is available. I do ask that it be in very good condition with 100% working status and no major comestic damage (missing buttons, large scratches, lights burned out, etc.).

Any assistance with the theft code programming is also appreciated. I am hopeful to get a new unit that I can quickly install and not have issues with. These are selling on eBay quite regularly, but I would prefer to get it from another F-body enthusiast.

i've got 1 in stock currently. its in great condition. out of a 2000 WS6 so it has the equalizer on it. It will bolt into a camaro dash and will still work with your factory trim plate. no missing buttons, etc. i would like $100 shipped for it. everything is in great working condition. Thanks

Don't forget that the Firebird version has red colored backlighting, and won't match the white in the rest of the Camaro.

I can't quite figure out why that's an issue. If ANYTHING on the dash has a overpowering color, it's the odometer with the orange-ish hue. If anything, I think the Pontiac version would go BETTER with it.

It might match the odometer better, but it would clash with all the white lighting that's closer to it (HVAC, foglight & ASR switch, etc.)

I see your point, but the display on the Camaro HU is controlled - mostly - by the greenish-blue info panel. Of course, part of the reason I'm doing this is because the original HU has lost most of the white lighting you are talking about. I guess I've been ween'ed off of it!
