WANTED: LT1 6-speed setup (transmission, clutch, pedal, master cylinder, etc...everything I need to swap over from an auto) I want to throw this into the 87 when I have it built up.
There is no timeline on this.. so I have time to shop around, gather info, etc.

I did the same swap in my 89. you need the pedal setup from a third gen, fourth gen was diffrent - i cant remember why, but I had to get 3rd gen pedals. Also is your engine 2 piece or 1 piece rear main seal? Fiadanza makes a speacial fly wheel for the 2 piece its about 350$. Also mine had bad vibration, I had to get it balanced. Thought Id tell you to have it checked before install, pulling the tranny sucks !!!!!!! other than that its its a great swap. I instaled 4:10 gears with a 265- 35- 20 and it runs great on highway. oh yea you need to buy or make a rear crossmember.
thought it might help, RALEIGH

Thanks for the info!I won't know about the engine till I pull it.. its supposed to be a 383 stroker out of a truck.. thats all I know at this point. So until I pull it and run the numbers, I won't know. So was everything else you used from a 4th gen except for the pedal? (mater cylinder, clutch, etc)? Did you take pics of viddeo of the swap? How much did you do yourself?

So no one has any LT1 6-speed parts for sale? Doesn't need to be everything right now.. just need to start collecting so I get some momentum on my project.... don't want it sitting forever.....
