ok,
Now I've been told that the mileage is stored in the computer, therefore my actual mileage would display eventhough the miles on the replacement may be more/less? This would be great??

How many miles are you looking for, I have a 97 Camaro cluster with about 65,000 miles. Mileage is stored in the cluster not the PCM. Looking to get $45 Shipped

Right now,I have 73,300 miles on my odometer. I know that the mileage can be changed to my actual mileage, but the shops around here are dumb. For that price ,it may be worth it,until I can find someone to legally fix it for me. What kind of shape is it in? and it is digital??
