It is out of a 01 camaro with CD /CD/AUX button.

If it came out of a camaro you might run into problems. The camaro and the trans am monsoon systems are different. Trans am has 10 speakers, camaros have 8.

I cant thank of any reson why it wont work in a TA the plugs are the same

It should work in a trans am just fine. I am a mobile installer at best buy and I have done it before for a customer. it uses the same standard GM wire harness, but you might have to tap into a amp turn on wire which I believe in that trans am was purple in a small seperate plug which was unused.
