Looking to buy a ls1 supercharger or procharger from someone

Ok here's my story I had just had a deal with a guy on eBay to sell me a vortech supercharger for $900 super cheap because I told him my situation and he understood, and I come to see he resold it on eBay I'm so upset and discouraged now this is my situation I am looking to buy a ls1 supercharger for $2500 used from someone , I work retail so I don't make a lot of money and the range of $2500 and under is all I can afford unless we can set up a payment plan someone please help me out

Instead of a super charge why not a nice head/cam/intake package? Then no worries about the super charger being used and what not.

i would never THINK about purchasing a big ticket item like that over Ebay. Atleast with vehicles you have buyer protection...'super cheap' usually means, buyer gets 'super taken'...

somethings you just shouldnt skimp on to save a buck or two...

I dont think that SSwt00SS was saying anything bad toward you my friend. I think he is pointing out that with ebay/egay you often get what you pay for. Thats all. He is trying to save you a head ache.

i fully understand, so dont get 'high and mighty on me'. and if you cant get sarcasm over my buck or two comment, you get bent out of shape too easily. as is apparent by how 'discouraged' your current state is.

look, we dont get what we want all the time in life. we've all had to let things go, or missed an opportunity to pick something up. it works out for the better in the end.

fair enough. yes, the point i was trying to make, was it simply sounded shady based off what you shared with us.

i was also trying to say that i realize many of us have tight budgets for our builds, and im no different. however, in some instances we get bummed because something didnt develop how we wanted, you usually come across something better down the road.

so dont get discouraged. there will always be another S/C or P/C. in the meantime it allows you to save a little more money in case you might need it.
