    C5 Z06 wheels

Hello I am looking for a set of factory (non-replica) C5 Z06 wheels for my '02 WS6, preferably all four the same size.

The regular C5's had 17x8.5 in the front and 18x9.5's in the rear. Z06 wheels are also lighter. Does your friend have a C5 Z06 or a base model?

Are we certain that the Z06 wheels are lighter, despite being bigger/wider? The C5 did have a magnesium wheel option, but even the base models got that (not even sure if the Z06 did, actually).

I have heard, from multiple sources, that the C5 Z06 wheels are 21lbs for the fronts and 23-24lbs for the rear.

I just snatched up two 17's and one 18' for a song. I need to get one of the 17's repaired though. So it appears that I may only need to more 17 x 9.5's now.

Thanks SJ', I am in contact with the lister now. Driving by Ye' Ole Wheel Shop tomorrow to have them look at the one wheel I got that has damage on it for fixing. If I get that wheel fixed for a decent price and end up with the Rockville wheels, I still would have scored my spring summer fall set for a song!

Glad that sounds like it is working out. I recently lucked into a pair of N73 wheels (one front one rear) as spares for my set and I'm looking at having Ye' Ole Wheel Shop clean them up and repaint them. Heard they have a good reputation but aren't great at answering the phone. Let me know what you think of them.

I've actually worked with them before, as has my uncle, we've been happy with them. They fixed one of my WS6 Speedlines a few years back. We will see how they are with a bigger challenge.

I have been to Ye' Ole Wheel a bunch of times. They do awesome work. When they finish, you will never even be able to tell where the original damage was.

I met up with the guy in Rockville and purchased those two wheels. They are the Italian made wheels, the other two are the 9593803's (presumably Alcoas). One had a little bit of rash, but I dont think it will need work. These had centers with them, so only down two centers, some work to hide the Corvette logo and repaint/ add Pontiacified logos and we ware ready for the road ( after tires of course)

Thanks, I really do appreciate it! Now I have to get hold of two more wheel centers and find a way to cover up the Corvette Logos with Arrowheads or Firebirds.
