    Battery tray for 99 T/A

    Need the plastic battery tray base for my 99 T/A. The back brace that the battery tucks into is broke on mine and doesn't hold the battery tight :-(

    Year one carries the over flow tank. I used this instead;

    I would have to look out there and see what I have but I think I have a couple of these left from last year. I know I have some....it's just a matter if they look good enough for me to sell. If you're interested I can take a picture of a couple and let you pick one.

    This is way better than using the factory setup to hold your battery in place. I took an old serpentine belt and use it between my bracket and the battery to keep it form rubbing. Plus it gives a tighter fit.

    I started including a little piece of foam that has adhesive on one side of it with these. I've ran mine for a few years now without the foam and honestly it holds the battery so tight that I don't see rubbing being an issue ( at least it hasn't on mine). After making a few of these last year I decided if I was going to do any new ones I would make them out of aluminum because it's just easier to work with and mine has a few little rust spots on it so aluminum wouldn't rust either.
    That being said I have 1 left out there made out of steel....if the original poster is interested in it I'll sell it to you for $11 dollars shipped and paypal'd. The dollar just helps cover the paypal fees.

    Instead of foam you could just pick up some rubber electrical tape. Nice and thin too.
