Long story here, but I've got the intake back. Post office pulled an "Ace Ventura" on it and cracked the end where the vacuum line port plugs in.

Original buyer didn't want to bother fixing it so I bought it back from him.

One tube of plastic epoxy and a couple of hours later, she's good as new. Epoxy is not in an area that will affect air to the cylinders - only on the back end where the vacuum lines plug in with that ~2" port deal.

I've attached one pic, more are avilable if you want. The epoxy is the shiny part to the left of the plug - I really packed it in there to make it as strong as possible, then just touched it with a coat of high temp black paint. It's on the back side of the motor so nobody other than the installer will ever see it.
