ls1 long block with pics
ls1 long block out of a 01z28,slight piston slap in #1 when cold but not bad at all.replaced under warranty.
$1000.00 obo must be picked up or shipping aranged.

the motor will be at my work wich is a gm dealership in matteson il.i got the engine by paying for the core charge.i was going to keep it for a spare but dont have room.

I thought '98 had the perimeter heads/valvecovers. What is the # on the front/top of the head?

had to swap out the valve covers on the exchange to work on the 01 z28

not now,but if i come accross one i will buy it.cost is between $1000.00 and $800.00 depending on core charge. can only get them if car is under extended warranty and not factory warranty because gm calls for them back.

$850.00 this engine has very little pistont slap when cold,you can hardly hear it and goes away after a second of running.
