    Ls1 #241 Heads

I am relisting these 2001 formula LS1 heads. Casting numbers #241. They have around 100K miles on them. They came off my engine that broke a rod. I had them sold and sent them to the buyer and he never paid me and thankfully he sent them back to me. I am asking $100 dollars plus shipping. Thanks for looking

After much research, we have decided to go with new L92 heads and L76 intake.
But your heads will definatley sell soon, that is a good deal!

    Thanks Anyway

This might be a silly question, but I've asked this in the truck section and NO ONE has answered me or not...

If the 5.3L engines found in the 2000 trucks/suv's are essentially detuned LS1 blocks with a different bode and/or stroke... would these heads be a dirrect bolt on and only require tuning?

    Looking for cheap bolts ons

I wish I could give you an honest answer to your question. If I were you I would go to your local G.M. dealer and ask the service dept or maybe the parts dept has some kind of part numbers to tell you. Also sometime wrecking yards have manuals that could tell you.

I know of no problems with these heads. They were removed from my engine that threw a rod thru the side of the block. They will probably be sold soon I am working with one of our members. Thanks for the bump
