White- 2001 Camaro Z-28
COMP CAM, Lifters & Ported and Milled LS1 Heads w/ new valves 500+ HP
Up for sale is a head and cam package that was purchased from RPM in Lewisville, TX. The head and cam package yielded 445 HP and 465 lb ft of torque to the rear wheels without tuning of the PCM. With other mods and a tune to compensate for this wild cam you could easily see 550 HP to the wheels.
The heads are 241 castings that have been ported and polished, fitted with 2.02 intake, 1.60 exhaust valves, dual comp springs good to .650 lift, & angle milled to 52 cc's. The heads can be angle milled down to 36 cc's if desired. The CAM is extremely wild & combined with the heads make up a full race setup. The CAM is COMP CAMS Solid roller .625 lift, 258-268 duration, 112 lsa. The package also includes COMP CAMS solid roller lifters. Solid roller cams are torque monsters but may require after market rockers.
The heads have been machined to accept the after market rockers or a shaft system. I have nearly $2300 tied up in this package. I need at least $1300 for the entire lot or a really reasonable offer. These heads have nearly 2000 miles on them. Buyer to pay shipping. I accept PayPal or a USPS Money Order. Pictures available upon request. Thanks.Last edited by tommyjt2006; 03-30-2007 at 07:23 AM.

These heads verse your heads will be gain of around 50 hp. They are machined for aftermarket rockers and the springs are setup up for high lift cams. The valves are relatively large and will be great now and for any future mods. The CAM is huge compared to the stock and bigger than the one you currently have. If this complete setup were installed on a 6 speed car it would maintain it's streetability. However on an automatic car it would not be a daily f
driver considering the need for a 3500-4000 stall. Hope this answers your questions. Thanks. -Tom.

I would let the heads go for around $800 plus shipping considering what I have in them. You may want to check out my ebay listing and you might be able to get the heads and CAM for a much lower price. They are currently listed there and the bidding is up to around $760.00. Click here to check it out.

The heads are a direct bolt on. If you maintain the CAM you have then you should be able to use the stock rockers but it is Highly reccommended that you upgrade them. You will notice much difference once you make the switch to a better rocker. The reason the rockers are needed for this setup is because of the high rise cam and the small chambers. Let me know if you want them. Thanks. -Tom.
