Its more of a joke than walking dead IMO. The acting is horrible and so is the script. But I laughed my ass of a few times. Like when the old man was stuck in a air duct with a zombie and he got it high. He smoked a joint and blew smoke in its face and it calmed down. It was so corny I laughed. It entertained me.

It's no Walking Dead but I don't think it was intended to be so. It's good for some laughs and B rated acting. I could easily picture Bruce Campbell acting in.
Besides it's still better then most of whats on tv.

I have to say this show is fun.....and campy.
They've answered/done what most Z shows/movies never address:
Zombies with major weather events: Check - Torando Z's
Zombies and Nuke Pwr Plants: Check - dayglow Z's
Massive Zombie heards (>100): check - the state of Kansas....
Who/how started the Outbreak: check, even though I can say Resident Evil really did, but that was not a true Z movie
Zombies and drugs: check - almost too funny
Zombies and cults: check
and now we have a season finally.......Zombies and Nuke missiles....
