I am kinda in between fav drivers right now ... I dont know if I like NASCAR as much as I used to ... You didnt put Boris Said in the poll.. He drives in all sorts of cars and does very well in anything he drives

Not me. Jr has to earn it and so far he really hasn't in my opinion. Sure, he's great on the speedways but the short tracks show talent. Too bad they're ditching all the short tracks for the 1.5 mile tracks. NASCAR has took a nose dive in the last 5 years. They'd rather have big dollar sponsors and high tv ratings than good races.

Actually his avg finish at the short tracks is better

I don't have anything against Jr. I about halfway root for him but I just don't see where he'll ever dominate the sport and to be fair I don't see anyone dominating the sport anymore. I miss the days of someone just being better than the rest. It used to be all about the cars and talent, now it seems to be about spreading the winners circle around so everyone can get their sponsor plugs in.

the fact is.... that it is his team.....no matter how good the car still gotta have someone that can drive it. Put grandma in a new Corvette lol what do u think she will turn in the quarter ? Would Payton Manning be in the Super Bowl if he played for the Falcons ? No #8's not the best but all 43 of those drivers can drive. Thats why they make millions racing and all we get to do is cheer or boo

being the son of a 7 time champ definitely helps you get a foot in the door.

that is true...but whats wrong with a dad helping a son.....a friend helping a friend .....u see it in all sports. Many great drivers will never get the chance to race in Nascar or even dirt track. When I was a teen if I would have had the money and the chance to race dirt track I could have made it far. I took my moms 2.2 Charger and street raced v8's through curves and give them a run for their money. Even out run the cops 1 time with the same car.
