I'm moving back in with mine here in a few weeks. Free rent for a few months beats out any of the negatives of living with them.

Well, i'm 22 and still live @ home. It never made any sense for me to move out as i've worked with my dad for quite some time now, and we have a good relationship in our house, which i think helps that decision a lot, but that comes from respect. I've never been a fuck-off or done anything to really piss them off if ya know what i mean. Regardless, my uncle is giving me land (like half a mile away), all i gotta do is get a place put on it.

I lived at home until I was 22 as well. Moved out for college. Living at home while working full time allows you put lots of $$$ away for toys, which is why I'm moving back in with them.

the only thing i hated about living at home was i could never bring a chic back home. and beings as i was freshmen and most of them lived in the dorms w/ gay "boy-girl sleepover" rules i was pretty much F'd. have to pull the old "hey we gotta be quiet or you'll wake up my roommates"

Yeah, there'd be no way i'd ever afford the bike, let alone 2 other vehicles if i had to rent a place by myself.

lol, i'm holding off on that as long as i can. Actually being single probably has its advantages...i kind of plan to build myself a 3-1/2 car garage, frame in the 3rd door, but sheet it over so that i only have a 2 car garage with an appartment. 2 car garage should be big enough for the ranger, bird and harley!

Well, what it boils down to is that it was the family farm, which has, since the passing of my great grandfather, been slowly divvied up kind of, my uncle got half, my grandma (his sister, he's technically my great uncle) got the other half and she sold hers. His he will keep indefinitely. My great grandfather gave my dad a small parcel (2 acres) and my uncle figured it was only fitting that I recieve 2 as well, as that would have been my grandpas wishes. SO, i have to get ahold of the sewer folks etc and get a perc site and get a sewer in, the water well will be easy, as my best friend is a driller. The building, and heat, plumbing will all be taken care of by us. It's definitely nice and I'm very fortunate to be given the land. The well driller friend of mine bought 8 acres of already logged-out side hill land for 28k.

wow, 2 acres? that sucks. i think i'm supposed to inherit around 2000 when my dad kicks the bucket, but thats nebraska land too, pry not the same.

I love staying with my parents. My dad reminds me that I don't have a job every now and then, but they're cool. Its a great life

Yeah, just 2, but I get free roam of the other 200 where and whenever I please. It was a 400 acre farm at the very beginning but like i said its dwindled.
