Y2K, 0rion and Z28!
I always like talking Football with either of you and been having some big time arguements with some of my friends.
I say that if GB wins tomorrow and clinches Home Field that we should sit are starters vs Lions and get our 2nd/3rd team some playing time to freshen up in case a starter goes down in the Playoffs. Plus our beat up team needs some rest.
They say keep the "Petal to the Metal" and use the 1st round bye as our only rest time for starters.
What do you two think? I know there isn't a right/wrong answer here, just getting opinions (Even if none of ours matter)Last edited by blackSS01; 12-24-2011 at 08:54 PM.

I think sitting the starters is a good idea. With one loss now what does it really matter? Clinch home field and get to the playoffs. They already have injuries why face more?

My thoughts exactly Z! I won't lie and say I didn't want a Perfect season but SB was and always will be more important. We are beat up to shit and my confidence has been shaken on making it through the playoffs. We need to rest because GB has the target on their back just like NO did 2 years ago.

Highly doubt they will choke, they are not Romo! Already proven they can beat anyone. Injuries are a big part in pro sports and we have alot of them. Had alot last year and won it but its a different animal this year (NFL) I'm trying to understand your logic GTP on saying the Current Champs and a 13-1 team will "Choke"

I know.....fuckin injuries! At least we have 1 week of rest and Jennings will be back for the 1st playoff game. We will get a couple more guys back also but that WR threat helps the most IMO. Its going to be interesting. This year NFL is all jacked up
EDIT: See what I attempted there

Rodgers is 5 TD's away from Brady's record.......I want him to tie it or break it (Meaning a 6 TD game) but I'm not holding my breathe. I still stand by my attitude to sit him (Maybe a QT of play) next game and rest the starters too.

Yup a QT of play should be enough. Then reset the starters and go from there.
