Wuts the deal with taxes

So i got my W2 and a couple of letters from places that would do my taxes. I glanced through one of the letters and it said that i would recieve something like 22.2% of what i paid back in return?? I dont think its true but i seem to have missplaced the letter. Does anybody know how much you get back? Last year i think H&R block gave me back an additional $500 for a firt time user or something??

I really wanna save up as much $ as possible so i can buy parts for my bike when i go back home this summer.

Does anybody know how much you get back?

1. Figure out your tax liability for the year
2. Subtract how much you have already paid in
3. If the result is a negative number you get a refund, if it is positive you own additional tax
