WTF are these things? (bug)(helpful MSPaint pic)
Alright so a bunch of these fucking fuckers have been fucking up my life for the past few weeks. They like coming out between 2 and 6 o'clock in the morning, and freak the fuck out when the lights are turned on, in turn freaking me the fuck out. They like to hang out in the edges where the wall meets the ceiling.
Here is a description complete with size reference in the hopes that someone will be able to identify them for me so I figure out the best way to extinguish their existence from my shit hole apartment:

Cennipede (spell?)

Man: The Mods you are fighting,
they are the biggest Men I have ever seen. I
wouldn't want to fight them!
Me: That is why no one will remember your name!

at the drawing, my guess was a centipede too but i don't think they have huge back legs? Or a big ass antenna? Google centipede and see if you find a close reference to those things.
BTW i think centipedes are extremely dangerous.

Only IROC would have extremely dangerous animals running loose in his room

Thanks for the info guys. Apparently it's a "house centipede". (Picture in the next post, in case some of the girls on the board don't want to be all "ew, that's like, gross and stuff")
They do not bite and are not dangerous, and are actually helpful because they attack, kill, and eat other household bugs like roaches and spiders (Yeah, I still have lots spiders from that thread months back about when I slaughtered a mommy spider near my bed and all the baby spiders on her back jumped ship and live in my room now).
So it would actually be a good thing to keep around.
lol fuck that, I can deal with the hundreds of minuscule spiders (and have fun while doing so); I'm not letting these massive demonic fuckers run around for that reason.

Picture of what is similar to what I see in my apartment:
(Not exactly the same. Also, it's hard to draw an accurate picture when what you're trying to draw is half on the wall and half on the bottom of a shoe.)

Not a bad thing. At night, sometimes I'll grab a red mini flash light and magnifying glass and see what comes out of the rocks to eat at night in the tanks. There are a lot of critters that live in there. Critters that I didn't put in there.
It's a trip. I've even got some things that I still can't identify. But, they call my tanks home and it's all good

I had fresh water tanks for many years. Bred a different Cichlids'. Even raised my own feeders. There's a lot of stuff going on in those too.
But yeah, the saltwater tanks are amazing. I'm so glad I converted my tanks.
I'll tell you what though... sometimes it's scary. You'll notice a new set of antenna or legs peering out of rock and have no idea what it's connected too So, if it's big enough, you take a pic or just try to describe it to the saltwater geeks and then everyone tries to figure out what you've got. Thing is, next time you have to get in there, you really wonder what you've got and if it bites
