meth mouth: "hey is that your bird?"
me : "yeah"
meth mouth: "it's real nice, is it a v8? i have an f-body too that im working on in day school HP tuning."
me: "oh yeah? what do you have?"
meth mouth: "a 01 z28... it's a v6"
me: "...what? you're jacking up a v6 z28?"
meth mouth: "yeah it's got the LT1"
me: "...uh WHAT?"
meth mouth: "you know, the v6 LT1 5-speed automatic"
me: "...no I don't know"

i kind of started walking away at that point, i felt my IQ going lower on my way into class. i couldn't tell if he was just messing with me or if he was dead serious because it could have gone either way with his demeanor and i was totally in awe about what he was saying because i couldn't believe that he was actually accepted into the high performance school ...but

I was pretty annoyed by this flaming homo who tried to tell me that LS1's are "Wedge engines" b/c the head and cylinder's don't come together at a perpendicular meet. That they actually make like a wedge-shapped gap. I was on my way out of where I was so i just kinda smiled and nodded.

nah i think its one of those v-tech things with nos and when you hit the button everything gets blurry

No such thing as a wedge engine. theres wedge heads though. Matter of fact the cyl heads i have are called "twisted wedge". If im not mistaken, almost all pushrod v8 engines infact use a "wedge" head, as the valve angle is not 0 degrees. ever sit a cyl head with the combustion chamber face down on the bench? The valves sure arent pointed straight up are they? the head makes a wedge like shape. hence what i think the guy was talking about. so the homo apparently knows more about engines then you do lol j/k man

he wasn't talking about the valves, he was actually talking about the face of the head to the cylinder
