    wow, what a fat ass weekend

    so i went to work out today and weighed myself...now i'm trying to get down to 170 for cycling season and had been at about 187-189. stepped on the same scale today...201!! then i realized this weekend i ate: red lobster, mcdonalds, pizza hut, and almost a whole german chocolate cake, plus a lot of windsor cokes. i am a worthless human being.

    for all practical purposes i am too. i am like 1/8th short of 6 foot. i'm gonna have to work for 170 though cuz i used to lift pretty heavy and when i was lifting about 18months ago i sustained about 205 and was benching around 300 so i was all chest, and its hard to lose that weight for me.

    i hit 177 towards the end of last season...so i can do 177 if i just get my head out of the self feeder and back on teh trainer!

    I gained 5 lbs this weekend.
    but it was birthday weekend, steak & mushroom sauce Friday nite, tacos the next night, with (leftover) steak and eggs for breakfast and baked salmon on Sunday.
    and a slice of chocolate mousse birthday cake all 3 nights
    oh well back to Jenny Craig for me...
    Monday a.m.: 211.8 lbs, (6'-1")
    206.2 last Tuesday...

    I'd like to get back to 150 or so, then return to 170 by lifting, but I don't have the motivation.

    Lately I've doing a lot of PE exercises, and running. Hiopefully I can drop some weight. My appetite is my weakness, so I am kinda looking for an appetite supressant.

    i used to pump iron 3 times a week. i am down to an averaeg of once every 2 weeks and to my surprise that it's enough to maintain and even gain!

    I am also 6'2" 236, and was in the 190s when I was in the Army and running 3-5 miles every day at Ft. Bragg. But ever since I broke my leg I can't do aerobic exercise anymore, and in 2 years+ since then here I am. I starting lifting again in early December and all that did was take me from 232 to 236. I guess I need to find a way to work up a sweat without running. Trying to get back down around 200 is a pain in the ass, especially with a disability.

    ^^^thats cuz you are still 19. not saying i'm old at 22, but my senior year of HS i weighed 148 and i ate whatever the hell i wanted. believe me, when your metabolism drops off, it happens quick. i'm dreading getting any older :P

    Very true, quitting smoking will drop your metabolism in a hurry as well. I think one of the larger metabolism drops occurs around age 25.

    na wont happen, been this way my whole life, lol

    my dad didnt get fat till he hit 40, and his two brothers are not fat, both grandfaters, were 6' and about 180 there whole life.

    when people guess my weight its always 200 or less cant figure that out

    When losing weight don't look at the scale...look at how loose your clothes are fitting. Muscle weighs more than fat does. If you have a good workout routine you going to gain muscle and lose the fat. That's why you don't you look at the scale but how many inches in the waist that you've lost.

    Thatz what I said til I hit 21... Metabolism just gets slower and slower... What I could lose in a week, takes a month to get rid of, and a weekend to put back on...
