Probably not. Those cars are super rare, and should probably be in a museum. I can build a car that is an exact replica in every way except the numbers on the vin plate and paperwork regarding its history. That car you could drive everyday, and it would cost a fraction to build compared to a real one's value.

If I had Bill Gates money. I'd also have a Jay Leno style garage and collection.

I also tend to agree with this. I'd be afraid to do any appreciable amount of driving with the original for fear of it getting damaged, even something trivial like small rock chips, etc.

I'd be afraid to drive something like that too, but I don't think these guys buy them to drive. I find that sad though. Cars were built to be driven. Waste of a muscle car.

I dont recall if it's from year one, but yes, you can buy brand new 1st gen camaro bodies, including 67-68 as well. As for the frame, you can buy brand new aftermarket stuff that is light years better than the original stuff.

there are investment quality and heritage cars . pretty much not purchased for driving . if you have 345,000 dollars to spend on a car that cost 6 grand tops new you have other cars in your collection to drive . the dynacorn body cars ( new shells ) are difficult to title and register in some states . if its titled as a "new " car it ad to comply with "new" car standards in safety ans emissions ( mot easy on a 40 year old design ) or title them as a kit car and have a title made up and have it inspected for safety

Exactly..... Waste of money to me unless I were so filthy rich I was putting together a museum
