ive always "heard" that 1 joint is equal to like 10 cigs i agree, both are bad

Weed is worse because it's normally:

1. Unfiltered
2. You hold it in your lungs longer

With that said though, you also have to remember that the average smoker will not smoke near as many joints in a day as someone who smokes cigs. No one is going to normally smoke 20 joints a day so i would say it probably evens out in the end.

On the other side though, weed isn't physically addictive.

Not that i am aware of. People don't smoke enough weed for that to happen. One for one weed is worse, but if you smoke a couple joints a day your whole life you are going to be in better shape than someone that smokes 20-40 cigs everyday.
