    2016 Camaro SS - Summit
    2001 Trans Am WS6 - NBM

Saw the second one just before lunch. I guess they left the ZR1 out because the ZL1 was already there? And I would imagine the Viper is not there because it's technically not in production yet, like the aventador and mclaren last year.

Very cool vids though, wish they would have asked me to drive one (not the Subaru lol)

I called it right. I thought it would be the GTR. Pretty sad that the only car I could possibly beat is the Lotus. Considering it isnt even meant for drag racing. I am surprised the LFA beat the Vette.

ON the second one, that Mustang hauls ass. I was really surprised by the ZL1. Once it gets its fat ass rolling, it moves. Remind me not to scoff at a ZL1.

if the zr1 was involved in this, it would have taken em all out...according to the specs...traction probably would have been an issue.

Not so much fixed because you are right, but my mod to your post rings true as well.

How come they did not have the new Challenger SRT8, Shelby GT500 or Camaro ZL1 ?

The list of cars in these two races are everywhere. On one hand you have 550+ hp supercars and 300hp porsches and BMW low end models all the way down to a 200hp subaru. The reason for this is because they were only doing new models or cars they considered to be drivers cars.

Some of those drivers didn't seem to be pushing them....just my .02 cents.

Motor trend is well known for the slowest drivers. Most of the cars were well off their marks...

Seems like the cars were pushed to their potential in the 2nd vid.

Not saying the ZR1 would have beaten the best cars in the 2nd vid, but I feel as though it should be included.
