Wondering what to do...

I feel like im never gonna be satisfied with this car as long as it still has an automatic in it. I hate not being able to shift. Im left with some options tho. What do you think I should do out of the above choices in the poll?

After seeing your car, I would say keep it. it is a damn nice looking car
It all depends on the amount of $$ you have available and or are will to part with.

you have a lot of options besides those listed.

Keep it and use as a daily, and buy an older model and mod that. Could be far more fun, and for about the same amount of $$.

1st, Yea im 17 and I bought my car on my own, so kiss my ass. 2nd, I got the car in the middle of January when I should have been buying around december so I could afford to be without a car. It was the only low mile trans am in the state in my price range. I initially wanted an M6 Black on black but I wasn't gonna spend $19K for a car with 50K miles on it.

Just because you're sore that a 17 year old had enough money to buy an Ls1 doesn't mean you have to come in here and piss me off. So keep your bitchy comments to yourself if all you're gonna do is flame. Im definately not the only one on here with one thats in high school.

BUT
if it's not your daily driver get a vette

gto will be slower cause it's heavier
vette not too practical for everyday use

Stall and Shift kit. Then mod the hell out of it. Believe me the autos are a completely different beast with them. It might not be exactly what you want but it will be alot more enjoyable.

Well, if you want an M6 then swap out the tranny. It isnt that hard to do and parts are readily available. Then sell the A4 to recoup part of the cost. Quite a few F-body's here in Phoenix that used to be A4 that are now M6.

Also, I'm not sore about a 17 yo owning a nice car. For that matter I had a 69 SS 396 Camaro back in 1973 when I was 19.

I jsut don't wanna spend like $6000 on a T56 swap when I can just sell the damn thing and pick one up with a 6 spd already in it for relatively the same selling cost. If I did sell it I'd probably ask $17,000. Its well worth it. 42,000 miles for a 1999.

BTW, whatever I do end up getting would be my DD if I get rid of mine. Theres no way in hell with me being a student and there being 3 other vehicles besides mine that I'd get a DD besides the LSX that I end up getting.
