So this chick I know from high school hit me on facebook a few months ago and stated she wanted to get a drink. So i agreed....and she canceled the date last minute......so i thought to myself no big deal. So fast foward to a week ago, she hit me again out of the blue.....and asked to get a drink (last night) i said ok why not and last minute she cancel's again....so i ended hanging out with my boy instead and low and behold once we get to the night spot she's in there with all her friends hanging out.....so she notice's me and starts to laugh and put her head down in embarsment......i ignore her and try not to make eye contact...shortly after she approaches me and starts to make excusues on why she blew me off .....and offers to buy me a drink....i decline the drink....and she continues to pester me after about 10 minutes of getting played to the side. she leaves and return's to her group meanwhile i'm talking with other women there and having fun.....a hour later she return and demands that i let her buy me a drink....i continue to decline her....and play her to the side she get's pissed and get's louder, so i walk away from her and she follow's me , my boy comes over and she split's she soon goes to the bathroom and we leave. She later texts me asking where was I? LOL

Did I handle this right? How would you have handled it?

She was being flaky and blew you off twice to do something else. You told her no drink and she pushed beyond that. I see no issue with your response. Plenty of other women out there. She isn’t special.

I recently had something similar happen. I got an excuse of "I'm too afraid to get close and lose someone again". I told her she is shit out of luck and chances with me and that she needs to stop letting fear be her god. Girls like that (note I didn't say women) will probably just hold you down/back from being anything other than you want to be. Fuck 'em. Wait for a real woman, my friend.
