you've been reading "weird wisconsin" again haven't you.

yes i've heard of the Bray Road Beast and several other creatures such as the Reptile Man of Highway 13 and the Thunderbird. but yeah he Bray Road Beast does very much sound to be a Werewolf of sorts.

well if you grab the book they talk about these local creatures and one of them was the Thunderbird. it was reported that a mythically sized (enormous) hawk-like bird terrorized a neighborhood in northern wisconsin back in the 80's and early 90's and actually attacked a little girl at one point. the Thunderbird is also well known in indian tribes as a powerful spirit.

I've never heard of any of them. I know there's enough haunted houses and UFO sightings though.

that's for sure.

actually i had a weird occurance back in july at the state water ski tourny doing night security. i flashed my mag-lite at this spot in the nite sky about 3 or 4 times...to which i had the weird, and creepy response of a single extremely bright flash of light from that exact point in the sky that i had just flashed.
