I built a new motor for my wifes 82 bird and put it it in a couple of months ago. Shes made about 25 passes with it and ran best of 7.61 @93 in the 1/8. My best is 7.35 @ 96 but i typiclly run 7.4-7.5. I put a trans brake in her car and she says shes gonna kick my ass now. She want's to run next thursday at Irwindale. I'll never hear the end of it if she beats me.

I'm gonna pray for you. Meantime get a wrench pop the hood and just hit a spark plug crack it, that should do it she gives a visual inspection.

Then he has to buy the new plug. You don't break things if you have to pay to replace them

This is about losing to a girl. Normal rules go out the window, expecially losing to the wife or gf.

Last time I went to the track my BF said he was gonna tow his mustang there and actually run with me. He chickened out. I would have enjoyed the challenge.
Instead I ended up lined up with a 350Z (12.80 car) and a Honda civic hatchback (13.0 car). Definitly kept me on my toes. I didn't care what my car ran that day just as long as I beat the ricers. I treed them both and had faster times then both cars. I was happy with that
