How come Irvin gets away with the above statements? I realize they are not entirely on the level of what Richards said, but shit come on they are pretty fucking ignorant to black people. Because he is black he can get away with it?

i think irvin has had to many concusions through out his life..that is just retarted. i doubt joe montana, steve young, dan marino and troy aikman had any brother in them..

does that make it ok tho? if i was sitting there talking about a black guy who is good at math and said oh he must be part asian and was joking would it still be ok? when you're on national radio like that it especially is not, now if you were with a couple close friends then maybe but not on tv or radio like that. it not only insults the athelete that he is talking about but also discredits him as well because of this.

I see the topic as being more toward the hypocrisy of the media and the general public when it comes to a "celebrity" making a racist comment and the reaction of said media and general public when one is color "A" and one is color "B"....
