who knows, if you read some of the posts in that thread, they don't even make sense. I've never heard of someone getting an "alert" for asking a legitimate tech question in the approriate section. Then they say were arrogant or assholes? well i guess some people are, but thats no matter where you go. Its kinda ironic cause I always thought that, thats what THEIR stereotype was lol Isn't ls1tech supposed to be the arrogant site? haha ls1tech aint shit to me, this place is my home. I'd NEVER be excepted there. Hell yeah I'm loyal to this site. I drive a mustang and I'm excepted jus like anyone else.

When I'm on that site I feel like I'm lost in the ambient noise. That's why I migrated here and rarely go back. Well, there ARE some threads I stay in on tech as I've been there almost 3 years. I've been here less than 1 year. I have ~ 500 posts on tech (if it isn't a technical post it doesn't count tho). I have over 1K here. This place is a whole lot friendlier and the crowd is just as knowledgeable AFAIC. If it wasn't for the fact that I post on TGO and several 1st gen sites I'd probably be here all the time.

Yes, I too have a humble 3rd gen. An 89 RS, 305tbi/700R4 w/2.73 open. Well at least it's not a V6. 200K + miles and it's like the fucking energizer bunny....

The thing about people gettin an alert for asking a question is complete horseIroc.

New people come here everyday and ask the same questions about the same things. We give them a slight answer and give them a tip/link to a page from LS1 with answers.

I have been on there and seen people just straight up shot down for asking a dumb question. A question that most people knew over there.

Here, there are no dumb question's, just some dumb answers. LS1 helps people.

The 89 is my DD. I also have the 02 shown under my post count and a 67 RS/SS like the name sez. Non original 454 with a TH400 and a 4.10 geared 12 bolt.

I post on three boards, I like the social more here, but if you want to buy sell parts, ls-1 tech is pretty good. I think most people don't care, I know I don't.

I have ventured over there, and the folks HERE are a whole lot friendlier. I only go there because of the Military section, I like keeping up with the fellas, and a few of the tech sections. But most of the time have been greeted by a no response or something really rude.

I agree, the sponsor, Especially the group discount section, and classified section is a whole lot better there.

I know what you mean. I post more in the SB & BBC specific area more than anywhere else on Tech.

the mods over there are all power trip assholes, if i thread doesn't meet "their standards" they lock it. Mods actually flame members, change their screen names to embarass them etc... I post over there a little bit but it is more of a dictatorship over there! Only thing I will hand to that site is they have ALOT more tech info and such, but nowhere near as fun as this site.
