    Why is it.....

...that anytime you work on your car your hands come out all bloody. Little hunks of meat missing here and there. Changed out the rear cross member bushings and you would think I put my hands in a blender and turned it on high. My hands look like Frankensteins after 50 years of twisting wrenches. And the funny thing is I never remember doing it....cutting myself....you finish up and get out from under the car and your hands look like a Friday the 13th movie meets Texas Chainsaw Massacre. Oh well. Manly man stuff I guess.

well, it's due to a couple of reasons. One, you're so focused on the job at hand that your mind blocks out any outside interruptions such as cuts, missing limbs, and wives. The second reason is that we're car guys that are just tough in general and don't feel pain unless you scratch the paint on your ride then your heart hurts.

It happens to me as well quite a bit.

I'll be pushing my entire body weight on the wrench trying to loosen a bolt thats been rusted in for 20 years, and when it finally comes, my knuckles slam into a perfectly positioned sharp peice of 80's slowness with ungodly force.

That usually happens to me when the car, wrenches, my hands, and all metal in near proximity is at 20 degrees below Zero.

But not both at the same time, unless you want an entirely new definition of PAIN

    Robin Williams' definition of divorce:

From the latin word, meaning to rip out a man's testicles through his wallet
