Hurst Competition plus shifter
Pacesetter LTs.
2.5 inch X pipe dumped.

Race gunna happen anyways just want some opinions. Please no Bias answers.

honestly could be close but the 96 should win. Might come down to being a drivers race, not a hp race.

the new mustang gt dyno about 260 to the rear wheels.

the 96 lt1 was around the same but has better low end torque and makes more hp per RPM.

what are the conditions of the race? roll or dig?

way i see it is you just need to be able to drive that car. mustang boy doesnt have to know how to drive with that A5. From a dig if he is sitting on stock stall converter he is going to have some lag and you should be able to jump him. wouldnt worry bout that diablo tuner unless it was professionally tuned just for his setup. you should make more power and have a better launch though. If you can slam gears hard enough then you can win but itll be close

the loudmouth and slp lids are about the only decent priced products from slp and they are built quality. eveything else is overpriced.

I have been building lsx based cars for many years. Theres nothing wrong with LM1 or LM2
I run a slp LM2, ory, on cammed 112lsa camaro. No drone or rasp issues. Sounds mean and great!

Camaro for sure. My stock 97SS would walk on every 05^ Mustang we have had.

Shorty headers on the 05^ DO NOT MAKE A DIFFERENCE! Believe me, been there, done that!

its just because all the LM that i have heard have been raspy.....not that its end of the world horrible, but there are better sounding exhausts out there
