whos been to Daytona Bike week? im going next week

I live in myrtle beach and we have big rallies here but never been in the middle of it, just the outskirts as a spectator.My dad and a bunch of his rowdy buddies are headed to daytona next week to stay from thursday to sunday. Im planning on buying a Honda 1300 custom this week and ride it down but im just wondering who else has been and how fun was it? I am married so i have to behave but the way everybody talks youll see more

and such than you can imagine. We're camping at the cabbage patch campground and ive heard it gets pretty damn wild

be on the lookout for old boobs, fights, and bike thieves... Oh yea be prepared to pay an arm and a leg for everything you buy within 50 miles

Here's the bike im after if anybody cares, 2006 Honda VTX1300C and ill pick it up with Vance and Hines pipes on it , OTD for $8500.

im buying it all for $8500 but if you buy them separately they run around $500 roughly

The Cabbage Patch can get a bit wild from time to time, but hey that just adds to the trill!

I have not been, but in a few years, I will ride down.
Sturgis for the 1st time last year.
Hells Canyon this June
Sturgis again (every year from now on!!)

Maybe in 09 I will have the time to ride way the fuck down to Daytona.
As long as it is not snowing.
It is only 1900 miles.

I ride an 04 FLHRCI (Road King Classic)
I have the V&H as well, nice sound.

Oh and FYI, not all "old boobs" are a bad thing. I've never heard any complaints.

i am not saying it isnt fun, i have been a couple of times and had a blast but i was with people i knew that lived down there.

it is very commercialized and there are alot of thieves that work down there... as far as old boobs go ive seen some good, some bad. Just depends on what you like an how recently they were rebuilt

well i got approved for the bike, getting with V&H pipes and Memphis shield for $8800 OTD. We are going for sure on thursaday and will be at the cabbage patch campground. i cant wait!!! we've got about 20 people riding with us down there
