I have a feeling the buyer believed it was the original Bandit car from the movie. It wasn't because all 3 of those cars were destroyed. Also, if you look at pictures of the car it has the wrong hood bird on it. So what this was, was a 77 TA owned by Burt, with a tag on the door that said it was owned by Burt. That's it. The buyer was a fool. Burt and Jerry at one time both did own TA's from Bandit 2. But both of those cars were sold years ago.

I cant believe someone paid almost 1/2 a Million for a 38 year old fire chicken. Some people just have too much money.
