I can't fucking stand my job. I dread going in every night. Then I think about how much I make ($18.09/hr+overtime) and the benefits and so on and so forth. Then I'm glad I have the job I have but I still fucking hate it. I work 3 days and off 4 days and I should make around $53k before taxes this year which isn't a whole shitload of $$$ but it's better than alot of my friends that went to college

But I still hate my fucking job.

I work in a glass factory. It's around 118 degrees in the summer at night. No shit. People pass out all night long. It's about 30 degrees in the winter. The money is the best part and that's how they keep people. One month we work weekends and the next month we work during the week which is nice. 5 weeks paid vacation and 1 week unpaid personal time. My family insurance plan including dental and vision is $30/week. All that sounds great but the job is soooooo fucking tedious. Me and 3 other people make ALL of the front drivers side window for the Toyota Camry.

I miss making $50,000 a year from when I was in the military, but I don't miss deploying all the time, duty, b/s, surges, etc. I like the stability my normal life has to it now.

I miss the shit out of the marine corps.....I loved my job as a forward observer.....having the power of god at my hands when im on patrol.......lol now i get bossed around by people younger than me lol
