    Bruce Lee.......Why? Even even almost 40yrs since his death his techniques and teachings are still highly sought after. He streamlining of different Martial Arts great impacted today's teachings. You could say he is a founder of MMA.

    No offense to any marial artist but they are not fighters. Bruce is the exception to the rule and I dont think he would contend with todays fighters.

    agree with everything except the founder of MMA. If anyone get the chance to see the spike's TV special on "I am Bruce Lee" it was great documentary. Bruce Lee influenced more than just martial arts.

    i'm sure we will never know who the greatest one of all time is... we only know of bruce, how many lived in the past that were not famous? how many live now that are not famous? we will never really know.

    if your question was "who is/was the greatest famous martial artist of all time?"
