Where/how do you park your car when in public ?

To prevent door dings I ALWAYS park as far away from everyone else as I can. My daughter complains about walking so far lol. I tell her its good exercise and lessens the chance of my car getting hit. I would like to take up 2 places but just take one so I dont get a ticket.

Another Camaro I used to have got hit and run while parked among other cars.

Rarely stop anywhere if I have the T/A out. If I am going to a get together, I certainly hope the others have the respect not to ding a door up.
If I do stop...I park away from the door a bit. Just to where cars thin out a bit.

I try to find corner or edge places so I can park the car as far to the side as possible to give those assholes with shorter doors than mine a chance to open all the way.....

i always park away too. with my first nice car i ever had i used to do this too, then i figured it was dumb, not one week at work of parking where everyone else did and my door got OWNED! like sanding was required and everything. bastards

I pulled up at Blockbuster video the other day, no cars near me and was only doing a quick drop. I was on the phone in my car and someone pulls up beside. Next thing a hear is bam. A kid slammed their car door right into mine. The mom made an attempt to catch it but to late. All I got has a sorry and they walked in the store like it was nothing. I got out and took a look. The plasitc trim on my door got the hit and I fixed it with some touch up paint. If it would have had a dent I would had the cops there making a accident report. People dont care. Its hard to have anything nice.

Got my Tib after I had to let the Z go. Getting ready to grab another LS1 this weekend.

I really liked the styling on the old RD Tiburons.

I traded in mine for my SS Camaro......for a 4 cylinder it run good

sometimes i'll take up 2 spots, other times i'll park farther away. Parking garages are the worst-so i try to park next to and closely to the support columns b/c they normally have a good 3 feet of space for my door to swing, and i can get close enough to the column that the other door is out of harms way from the next car over

I don't always park far away, but I do look for other nice cars, or make sure I have even space on both sides to prevent people from parking too close to the line. I try to find something near a median or island near it, so that way I only have to worry about one car beside me instead of two.

I hate people who take up two spots. I wouldn't key their car or anything, but I know that some people could care less about other peoples stuff, and they would do it, so I am not going to be on the wrong end of that stick.

I also hate when people park crooked on purpose taking up like 1 1/2 or two spots, with their wheels turned like they are posing for a car magizine. I think to myself.. Dude you are at Wendy's -- Import tuner isn't coming to snap pictures of your fart canned rice graphics, POS get a life. LOL

i was at superwalmart one time and i parked next to the yellow anniversary edition bird....and when i was coming back i saw him leaving the parking lot...so i ran to my car and caught up to him...hes like "sweet car" blah blah blah...i just wanted to race him...i did...i won...
