Does your driving record get wiped clean? Or is it there for good? Wondering because I have a speeding ticket and would rather it not be there. Doesn't really matter in the long run I realize. But i'd rather start clean, you know what I mean?

it stays there although after 3 or 4 years they no longer show up on your record when the insurance company looks at it.

So if a company or college looked for it, it wouldn't show up?

If they look 3 years after you get the ticket...no. It will be on your DMV driving record for three years like Mile said...anyone that pulls the record will see it.

Dang. I'll be well into college by then. Atleast by the time I get out into the real world when it matters it wont show up. Thanks for clearing that up
