Whats with movie endings sucking lately?

Just watched I Am Legend, There Will Be Blood and No Country for Old Men...

question...

where the fuck is the rest of the movie on these?!?! they run out of money and just decide to chuck out the endings?

very dissapointed, 3 biggies in a row i wanted to see and they were all a total waste of time.

hollywood, you suck ass.

I agree a lot of movies have had sucky endings. Crank, and fearless was some older movies i was looking forward too and they sucked as well.

A lot of people didn't like the endings of cloverfield and I am Legend, but I enjoyed them

I enjoyed them and ill probably buy them one day.. But movies have kinda sucked.
I am legend and transformers has to be my newer favorites..

The mist sucked bad.........but it was a lame movie anyway.

did you see the alternate ending to i am legend, i thought it was alot better. funny i had this same conversation yesterday with a co-worker and thats exactly what he said "the ending sucked" so i'm supposed to bring him disc 2 with the alternate ending today.

he doesn't die. he gives the zombie woman back to the leader zombie and the zombies don't mess with him when he walks out to give her back, they just leave, then they go looking for the colony, in a nutshell.

That sounds lame as hell. The theatrical ending is way better.

me explaining how the alternate went is not a good enough description to make an opinion. you would have to watch it yourself to be the judge. the whole butterfly tattoo thing plays into the alternate as well. i thought it was better because at least he thought of some other way for them to survive than blowing his self up.

yea i saw the alternate online... still some of the worst cgi ever, i think people looked more real in the final fantasy movies ha!

movies don't have to do with writers strike... most movies are all ready books... some turd gets paid to cut down a fwe parts to make it time conscious...

yea exactly... it was drawn out but suspensfull enough not to bother you, but then like you expect a whole other section of movie dealing with tommy lee jones but he has almost no freakin need to be in the movie. they dont explain anything really, what ever happened to movies like pulp fiction where every angle is covered and theres actual storey to go with the action!
